No Free Speech in Germany
This Reuters report out of Duesseldorf, Germany shows that there is no free speech in that country.
It seems that a 61-year-old man has been arrested and sentenced to a year in prison and 300 hours of community service for printing the word "Koran" on sheets of toilet paper and sending them to television stations, magazines, and mosques. The toilet paper was sent along with a letter that called the Koran a "cookbook for terrorists."
According to the article, the German criminal code allows for a maximum sentence of three years in prison for insulting religious beliefs.
