A Proud Moment for the Democrats
Perhaps the most telling sign of what the National Democratic Party has become came a little more that halfway through Tuesday's State of the Union address.
The most wildly enthusiastic response the President received from the left side of the aisle came when he said, "Congress did not act last year on my proposal to save Social Security..." The democrat side stood, applauded, and hooted and hollered.
How proud they must be to stand as the obstructionist party.

What struck me as even more telling was when President Bush was talking about how the abortion rate was declining and the rate of teen pregnancy was the lowest in 3 decades and drug use was down, etc...the Democrats chose not to stand. What about any of this could they possibly disagree with or not be happy about? It shows their extreme bias against President Bush and any of his policies.
