Sorry but Jennings's lawyer wrote a statement in 2004 saying that the young man was of legal age:

Yes, that's what the lawyer wrote. Funny, though, that Jennings himself didn't deny that the boy was only 15 when on Wednesday he said, "Twenty one years later I can see how I should have handled this situation differently. I should have asked for more information and consulted legal or medical authorities."
Whether he was 15 or 16 may make a legal difference in Massachusetts, but either way, Jennings is way outside the mainstream. His long history of gay activism may not be a concern for you; you may even consider that to be a positive thing for a man charged with making schools safe. However, for most people, his radical agenda of promoting homosexuality in schools is a concern.
Even putting Jennings' pro-gay agenda aside, appointing a man who has said that "watching the planes take off and land at the airport, ...is actually quite fascinating when you are drunk and stoned" to a position where one of his key responsibilities is to promote drug-free schools is questionable judgment on Obama's part.
At the very least, Jennings is yet another example of Obama's propensity to appointment far-left radicals to powerful positions in his administration.
