This Gets So Old!
The kind of vile, bigoted, hate-filled speech spewed Wednesday evening from the mouth of NAACP Chairman Julian Bond is getting to be really old. I hardly have the energy to even write about it anymore, but I think that as much as possible, people need to be constantly reminded who the real hate mongers in this country are.
Speaking at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina, Bond said, "The Republican Party would have the American flag and the swastika flying side by side," and in language reminiscent of Harry Belafonte's calling Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice "Uncle Toms," Bond referred to Powell and Rice as "tokens."
In the past Bond has referred to Republicans as "Taliban," and to black conservatives as “ventriloquist dummies.”
What do this man and others like him think they are offering to the black community, or to anyone else for that matter, that is helpful?

Honestly, they are losing the battle just like all the rest of the Liberals. U see as more and more African American's find out the true benefits of a capitalist society they are increasingly turning to the conservative viewpoint. People like Julian Bond are losing to capitalism and they just can't fight it on an ideological basis. Hence the personal attacks.
Larry, I agree 100%, but I still get tired of hearing the same nonsense from Bond, Sharpton, Jackson, etc.
