The Only Real Embarrassment is for Mexico
Mexican President Vicente Fox has told reporters that the bill President Bush signed Thursday to build 700 miles of additional fencing along the U.S. - Mexican boarder is "an embarrassment for the United States."
Mexican President-elect Felipe Calderon compared the new fence to the Berlin Wall:
As for Mr. Fox's comment, the real embarrassment is for the Mexican government, which is so corrupt that an oil-rich country full of hard-working people is so poor that its citizens want to sneak into another country to find a decent job.

Here's a news flash for Mr. Calderon: The Berlin Wall was built by the Soviet Union and East Germany in order to keep their citizens in their country. The United States is building this fence to keep illegal aliens out of our country. I've never heard of a U.S. citizen sneaking across the boarder trying to get to Mexico.
The decision made by Congress and the U.S. government is deplorable. Humanity committed a grave error by constructing the Berlin Wall and I am sure that today the United States is committing a grave error in constructing a wall along our northern border.
As for Mr. Fox's comment, the real embarrassment is for the Mexican government, which is so corrupt that an oil-rich country full of hard-working people is so poor that its citizens want to sneak into another country to find a decent job.

But, also US dont help the progress of Mexico.
Besides, the reason why Mexican are going to US is the same why US got a lot of inmigrants in the 19 century..it is a freaky rich country with a lot of spaces to work
Besides any of the reasons...my guess is that the wall is totally a political move....Mexican are already inside US...too late for them...
The immigrants of the 19th century, including my Grandmother, came here legally. And immigrants are still welcome today to come from any country in the world, including Mexico. They just need to do it the right way, not sneaking in like a thief.
And you are right; there are already 12 million illegals in the U.S. We can figure out what to do about that later. Right now we just need to stop the millions more trying to come in illegally.
